In a special meta episode, Mr. Salt and Joe host the 100th Blue's Clues Day Celebration, a musical revue with classic moments from the first 6 years of the show, filled with 5 different throwbacks! Even Steve came to visit from college as a special guest.

Trivia[]

Jennifer Brown is one of Joe's Friends in this episode. She's related to Laura G. Brown, who worked as a content consultant with her Ph.D. degree, but not in this episode. In fact, this episode's content consultants are unknown.
This episode does not include playing Blue's Clues, Mailtime, Video Letter, or Skidoo segments in this episode, just a clip show featuring retrospectives.
Periwinkle is the first character to start this special episode.
- Also, this is his first time going through the door flap.
  - He would do that for a second time in Blue Takes You to School.
Clips were shown on various montage videos from seasons one-four, and the first four episodes of season five.
Another working title for this episode was "100th Blue's Clues Day"
This was the last episode to be produced in Season 5.
- This also reveals that the whole fifth season was filmed in 2002, as clips from episodes that were aired in 2003 are shown as well. This also means that the season had to have completed filming in June 2002 or before that.
This marks Steve's final physical appearance in the original Blue's Clues.

In "The Clues We've Found" throwback, a clip from the previous season finale episode "Steve Goes to College" shows Joe holding up the cassette tape that makes a ringing sound (Replaced with a bike horn honking sound,) and the pawprint was on the sound waves.
When the kids' cheers and applause sound effect was heard at the beginning, the captions said "(crowd applauding)".
The "100 Days, 100 Shows!" was heard when Blue sings a song about home in Skidoo Adventure. The instrumental version of this was heard during the Blue's Big Musical preview.
When Periwinkle said "They're here,", two errors happen. One, he said "They's here", and two, the closed captions displayed it twice. He just said it once.
In "The Places We've Been" throwback, the instrumental version of the Glasses song from the Season 3 episode Magenta Gets Glasses was heard.
In "The Laughs We've Had" throwback, the silly music from the Season 3 episode What's So Funny? was heard.
In "The Things We've Learned" throwback, the instrumental version of "I Can Be Anything That I Want to Be" from the Season 3 special/movie Blue's Big Musical was heard.

This is the first episode where the Play Blue's Clues song was not featured.
This is the third episode not to feature the end credits with a white background, they're featured with a red background, the first episode was Blue's Big Pajama Party, the second episode was the Season Three's long episode Blue's Big Musical.
This is the only episode where Periwinkle did not appear in the end credits.
This is the third (fourth if you count the original airing of the three-episode-Season-4-finale) episode Blue does not play with her ball after the end credits before the book closes.
Joe wears an orange squared shirt in this episode and later, a tuxedo.
When the party ends after Joe bows with the others, including Mr. Salt who signs off, he changes out of his tuxedo and goes back to his normal outfit.
In the closing credit sequence, the credits are in a red background with the Spumoni font for the credits, after the credits finish, the yellowcurtains close, and then the 1999-2005 Nick Jr. Productions logo follows it and plays as normal, unsurprising, there's no character animations in the credits, not even Blue nor her ball at the very end.
Mailbox, Mr. Salt, and Mrs. Pepper are absent in the end credits.
In the end, when the kids say what their favorite Blue's Clues Day was, an instrumental version of "I'm So Happy" plays.
Mr. Salt does not appear before "The Places We've Been" and "The Things We've Learned" throwbacks began.
The announcer for the 100th Blue's Clues Day celebration is Mailbox.
During 100 Days, 100 Shows!, the notebook pages from early episodes from this season are seen.
Joe, in his tuxedo, is the announcer for the special surprise guest and another friend coming out and joining the party after the long off-screen ringing sound.
Steve is the announcer for the next special comedy guest.
Mr. Salt is the announcer for another friend who is behind the curtain and the special musical guest.
The characters who briefly appear after the announcements are Mr. Salt, who arrives on a blue podium with the number 100 on it, Steve, who hides in a box, Sock Puppet, who is revealed by Steve, Tickety, who arrives after the ringing sound, Blue, who hides behind the curtain, and Sidetable Drawer, who holds a very special place in the hearts and holds the notebook.
This is the first time Tickety has purple alarm bells with glitter on them. This will happen again later in Bluestock.
This is the first time Joe has a tuxedo. This will happen again later in Playdates.
When Steve runs home to college during applause, he sings part of the Planets song, which is "The sun's a hot star. Mercury...", while waving goodbye.
Due to the very short end credits, nobody, not even Mailbox, Mr. Salt and Mrs. Pepper, or Blue appeared in the credits whatsoever.
In the sneak peek, Another Blue's Clues Day plays in the background when Joe talks.
After the sneak peek, the viewer's party ends itself.
When the title card says, "Sneak Peek!", Tickety says, "Psst! Here's a sneak peek just for you!".
In this episode, "The ever spicy, never dicey king of sodium himself" is the same as "The always spicy, not so dicey king of sodium himself".
When "The Laughs We've Had" throwback ends, Joe and the audience let out the last laugh before the ringing sound happens.

The characters broke the fourth wall by saying "100 shows". There are only 3 shows so far that relate to Blue's Clues.
- The only others are Blue's Room, and the reboot.
- If you want to include the live shows, then there are 5.
There are goofs in many throwback scenes, please see this to see them.
- Part of this could be that the production of the episodes to be aired in the future was not finished at that time.
Joe hopes the show would go on for 1,000 episodes, but it never happened, since the series ended in 2006. This applies to the original series. It also applies to the original (including Blue's Room) and reboot combined because the reboot is cancelled by Nick Jr. after five seasons.
In the “Sneek Peak” video, it showed footages of Colors Everywhere! and Joe Gets a Clue despite those episodes already aired.
The "Head writer" and "Content consultant" credit pages are left absent in the credits.
