Dora Marquez is the titular protagonist of Dora the Explorer. DescriptionDora is a true heroine - an Indiana Jones for the preschool set. She is a born explorer, always eager for the next adventure. Though she's only seven, she serves as something of a big sister to her best friend, Boots, and to the viewer as well. With her pride in being bilingual, her respect for her elders, her growing understanding of her culture and heritage, and her love for storytelling and music, Dora embodies the Latina spirit. LooksDora's skin is a brown/peach color. She has brown hair and brown eyes. Dora wears a pink T-shirt, orange shorts, frilly yellow socks and white-and-pink shoes. Around her wrist is a yellow pearl bracelet. On her back, she places Backpack. AppearancesDora appears in every episode of Dora the Explorer. She debuted in "The Big Red Chicken," and was last seen in "Dora's Super Soccer Showdown."
