Face Face was the original host of the Nick Jr. block on Nickelodeon. He first appeared in between airings of shows on September 5, 1994 (although the Nick Jr. block had aired without a host since January 1988). Description Face is the on-air mascot of Nick Jr. He loves to express positive emotions and ask his viewers simple questions. Face even gets to meet up with some Nick Jr. friends from time to time! Looks Face, as his name implies, is a simplified cartoon version of the human face. He has two black pupils and a small mouth. Face changes colors frequently. Appearances Face appeared in over four hundred Nick Jr. commercials from 1994 to 2004, in addition to two "guest appearances" as part the TeenNick programming blocks The '90s Are All That in 2011 and The Splat in 2015.
