The Grumpy Old Troll lives under a bridge, which Dora and Boots often come across. Whenever anyone tries to cross his bridge, he tells them they must solve a riddle to proceed. With the help of the viewer, Dora and Boots always determine his riddles.

The Grumpy Old Troll is mostly yellow. He has an orange beard and two white eyes with black pupils.
Appearances[]
The Grumpy Old Troll appears in many episodes of Dora the Explorer. He debuted in the "Surprise!" episode and was last seen in "Verde's Birthday Party." He also appears alongside Petunia in the "Return to the Rainforest" episode of the Dora and Friends: Into the City! series.
