Tasha Gender Female Species Hippopotamus Tasha is one of the main characters of The Backyardigans. Description Tasha is a deceptively sweet and girlish hippo who wears red Mary Janes and a flowered dress. A favorite playmate of Uniqua's, Tasha looks sweet as pie, but underneath her girly exterior beats a heart that's tough-as-nails. She is rational, skeptical, and highly motivated to get her way. Tasha and Uniqua are always giggly, silly, and full of fun when they are together. Looks Tasha is mostly yellow. She has white eyes with black pupils and orange eyelashes. Her normal attire consists of an orange dress with a flower pattern and two red Mary Jane shoes. Appearances Tasha appears in many episodes of The Backyardigans.
